Acrylics and oil markers on canvas
16” H x 16” W x 0.5” D
2018
In this series, dots become a language. Repeated marks gather, separate, and reconnect, creating forms that seem to emerge from the canvas itself. Through accumulation and rhythm, each painting explores the relationship between the individual and the whole, inviting viewers to move between intimate details and larger visual landscapes.
Blooming is an exploration of growth, emergence, and transformation. At the center of the composition, a luminous blue form appears like a seed, a flower, or perhaps a small planet suspended within a field of living marks. Around it, clusters of dots pulse and expand, creating a sense of energy radiating outward in every direction.
The painting reflects the moment when possibility becomes reality. What begins as a single presence gradually influences the surrounding space, generating connections, rhythms, and unexpected harmonies. Blues, whites, reds, and greens weave together like elements participating in the same unfolding process.
Through color, movement, and repetition, Blooming celebrates the quiet mystery of becoming.
