Acrylics and oil markers on canvas

2018

In this series, dots become a language. Repeated marks gather, disperse, and reconnect, creating visual rhythms that suggest movement, growth, and transformation. Rather than describing a specific place, these paintings explore inner landscapes where forms emerge through accumulation, chance, and dialogue.

Evasion evokes the desire to slip beyond boundaries. Clusters of colored marks weave through a dark field, appearing and disappearing like fragments of a journey. Shapes seem to travel across the surface, finding openings, changing direction, and creating unexpected pathways.

The contrast between luminous blues, vibrant reds, fresh greens, and deep shadows generates a sense of motion and possibility. No single route dominates the composition; instead, countless visual currents invite the eye to wander freely, discovering new connections with each viewing.

Through abstraction and rhythm, Evasion becomes a meditation on freedom—the instinct to explore, to imagine, and to move beyond what is familiar toward new horizons.
