Tourlicoulis
“Tourlicoulis” is a word I created to
describe the playful lines, spontaneous shapes,
and dancing rhythms that emerged
naturally in my early paintings.
Over time, it became my own visual language
— a universe of vibrant forms, swirling movements,
and intuitive characters.
Original Tourlicoulis
These are the first works in which my visual vocabulary was born. Painted in the early 2000s, the Original Tourlicoulis pieces capture the instinctive lines, whimsical shapes, and imaginative figures that later defined my artistic universe. This series represents the spark — the moment I discovered a personal language of joy, rhythm, and emotion.
