Tourlicoulis
“Tourlicoulis” is a word I created to describe the playful lines, spontaneous shapes,
and dancing rhythms that emerged naturally in my early paintings.
Over time, it became my own visual language — a universe of vibrant forms, swirling movements,
and intuitive characters.
Original Tourlicoulis
These are the first works in which my visual vocabulary was born. Painted in the early 2000s,
the Original Tourlicoulis pieces capture the instinctive lines, whimsical shapes,
and imaginative figures that later defined my artistic universe.
This series represents the spark — the moment I discovered a personal language of joy, rhythm, and emotion.

Post-Tourlicoulis
An evolution toward bolder shapes and richer color. The lines remain, but frameworks become more structured—
spaces filled with forms, rhythms, and playful compositions. A bridge between my earliest doodled universe and my later abstract worlds.
Tourli-People
This period marks the transformation of the Tourlicoulis from playful shapes
into complete characters, each with a distinct presence and expressive identity.
Out of Space
This series marks a playful expansion of my visual language.
The dense lines soften and give way to bold, floating shapes,
bright color fields, and constellation-like dots.
These paintings feel weightless, as if drifting in dream-space —
where figures, creatures, and symbols move freely in their own vibrant universes.

DOTS
A meditative shift into color fields built from dots, clusters, and cellular patterns.
These works focus on texture, rhythm, and organic forms, creating a sense of movement through repetition.
Nature
This series celebrates the raw poetry of the natural world—its flowers, colors, movement, and quiet mysteries. Sh
apes burst into bloom, colors collide like seasons shifting, and lines sway like wind through tall grass.
These works transform nature into emotion, turning familiar forms into vibrant, expressive landscapes of imagination.
Abstracts

This series reveals the evolution of my personal visual language — the Tourliboulis.
These works are built with fluid lines, rhythmic gestures, and joyful shapes
that seem to dance across the page. Using oil markers,
I create playful characters and abstract forms that interact in a lively, spontaneous universe.
